Bethany Bytes

Bethany Bytes has closed it's doors forever in Bethany Beach. We will miss each and every one of our customers over the years from 2003 in our first location, to our new store until September 2008.

The time has come... to make this announcement formal. Many of you have heard the news, so now it is time to share it with the world. Bethany Bytes will be closing it's doors after 6 great summers in Bethany Beach this year. September 1st will be our last day open. It has been an experience bringing Internet and PC Gaming to Bethany. We will miss each and every one of our great customers we met over the years. Each of you has left an impression with me, no matter how briefly we met. This is hard news for all of us, especially the family behind the whole store. We have worked very hard, spent a lot of money, and tried to do our best to bring the best services we could to Bethany. By no means was this a failure, but there comes a time in every venture where it is time to move on to bigger and better things. I have a lot of opportunities that I just can not pass up, so that is the plan. I will be moving on into the world of IT and Computers. Maybe someday you will see me on TV and say, "Hey, I knew that guy. He had a cool shop in Bethany where I played Counter Strike every summer."

The whole staff of Bethany Bytes is like none other you will ever find in Bethany. We were all friends and essentially unchanged over the years. We have one of the highest retention rates in the whole town and I have no one to thank for that but my Staff. Every single one of them is very smart, talented, and great at what they do. They made the store what it is, and I will miss each and every one of them after this summer. They have their own lives to get started on, so I wish you guys the best of luck in the future!

I also wanted to say Thank you to everyone else for the memories and I wish you the best of luck in the future from myself and the whole Bethany Bytes Family. It has been real, and in hindsight, I wouldn't have changed a thing.
